This Cookies Statement applies to the Services* as defined in the Bimmatch Terms of Service (the "Terms") as well as any Bimmatch product or service that links to this document or incorporates it by reference. This Cookies Statement describes what cookies are used when you access our Services and includes information on how to limit or deny these cookies.

Cookies Banner

When you enter www.bimmatch.com (or if applicable, websites from where you can access our Services) you will see our cookies banner where you can agree to accept all cookies (by clicking "I Agree") and where you can also access this information page which tells you more about your choices.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is essentially a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Cookies enable us to identify your device, secure your access to our website/Services (so you can for example, safely log in to your Account) or even help us know if someone attempts to access your account from a different device.

When are cookies placed?

Any browser visiting www.bimmatch.com the Services (or accessing the websites of any third-party from the same) will receive cookies.

What types of cookies are used?

There are two main types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies.

Session cookies are created temporarily in your browser's subfolder while you are visiting a website and only last for as long as the session. Once you leave the site, the session cookie is deleted.

A persistent cookie remains in your browser's subfolder and is activated again once you visit the website that created that particular cookie. So, for example, if you are a registered user and sign in to your account, a persistent cookie stays in your browser and will be read by Bimmatch when you return to allowing us to recognize you so you don’t have to sign in again.

First-party and third-party cookies

First party cookies are cookies set by a website you directly visit i.e. the website displayed in the URL window.

Third-party cookies are cookies that are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting. So, if you access or visit another website through ours, cookies set from that website would be third party cookies.

When you use our Services you may also receive third party cookies from third party websites you visit e.g. manufacturer’s product sites. You may also receive cookies from our designated service providers/partners. For more information regarding this please see our Privacy Policy. Such third parties will most likely have their own privacy notice(s) and cookie statement(s) where you can find detailed information.

This helps us to improve the way our website works, and improve user experience based on statistics of the user’s visits. The statistics data is anonymous and never shows personal details from which your personal identity can be revealed.

Functionality cookies

These are used to recognize you when you return to our Services. This enables us to personalize our content for you, remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region, what your communication preferences are). They can help you fill in your information more easily on different parts of the website depending on how you use the Services.

Unless you clear these cookies from your browser, we may continue to use this information for a certain period of time.

How you can control cookies

You may, if you wish, limit or deny consent to the placing of cookies; however, if you do, certain features of the website may not function fully or as intended.
